Ranger Farming
Is there any build to farm with a ranger primary? Any hints or build ideas?

i thought standard ranger farmer was something like barrage bot with zealous, pred, live vicariously/mark of pain (depending on secondary) and some stances?
Im sure it used to work, i could never be bothered to try it though.

You could use a ranger/monk, have charm animal, and cast symbol of wrath, can't remember if can do balth aura, on your animal while it takes damage. Just have to keep it alive.

i know of a really slow method of farming those sand giants with a ranger.
what you do is you take pin down, poison arrow, hunters shot, and thats like it.
then the strategy is you go up to a sand giant, use poison arrow, hunters shot, and then run. surprisingly, these guys give up chasing you really quick (like after you ran for about 2 seconds), so just go back and reapply poison arrow and hunters shot. if one gets too close just use pin down, but that usually doesnt happen.
after some time the degen kills them, all these guys drop is gold hammers (giant slayers hammers). that and those collector giant jaws or something.
definetly not the fastest way to farm, but it works if you find that spot.. im too lazy to get a picture for you on a map
oh and the last time i did this was approx... 4 months ago? more? so dont quote me on it.
oh and i had this idea... if you put down a dust trap somewhere, ran around and pulled a huge mob into your dust trap, then while theyre all blind lay a spike/barbed trap, and then once theyre crippled just keep running ahead and trapping... maaaybe it will work
